It’s Wednesday and today I woke up to the sun shining bright and thought it would be the perfect day to spend relaxing at the nearby beach; then reality struck and I remembered I had to work! So terrible when that happens. Lucky for me I only have one more day of work this week before my long weekend starts. I have a day trip planned to Giethoorn (The Venice of Holland) on Saturday and cannot wait to spend some time with my girl friends exploring this quaint Dutch town.

It’s actually a really comfortable temperature here today which I am very thankful for. These European summers fluctuate so much, it’s hard for a South Florida girl to keep up! Today I really wanted to wear a dress, but I thought better of it because my legs are so pale and I didn’t want to frighten any of you off so I wore jeans instead. You’re welcome. I paired my denim with a punchy purple top, my favorite chevron sarong turned scarf, and topped it off with my black blazer. Oh, and I am wearing different shoes! Something other than my booties. I purchased these lovelies from Zara for my trip to London because I assumed all the bloggers at the iFabbo conference would be wearing heels. I was wrong. Most of them were wearing flats because that’s the practical thing to do. Nevertheless, I love these shoes and am happy with the purchase, but now I know that practicality wins in the blogging conference world.

In other news, I am now part of the Lucky Style Collective! Even writing that seems surreal. I feel extremely privileged to be named among so many of the top bloggers and cannot wait to collaborate more with Lucky! I mean, my slide is right next to Samantha’s from Could I Have That, seriously amazing. A big thank you to Lucky Magazine for the great opportunity! Make sure you take some time to check out the other bloggers who are part of Lucky Style Collective, so many creative inspiring people!
