I had very high expectations when it came to the street style in Paris. Before my trip I expected every Parisian to dress well and only in the finest garb. Not entirely true. Yes, some Parisians dressed impeccably, but the majority of the population didn’t really impress me so much. I did spot a few outfits that made my mouth drop though. This particular one I spotted on a chic girl on the Champs-Elysées. I loved the mix of the more edgy leather shorts with the sweet feminine jacket and the simple flats. It’s just lovely, right?

A little side story. As we were walking on the Champs-Elysées we noticed a very large crowd was formed outside one of the stores. As we drew nearer we noticed that people were standing in line to get their pictures taken with two twin male models. I kept wondering what would draw this kind of a crowd and then it hit me it had to be an Abercrombie & Fitch store! Sure enough it was. I actually was quite perplexed after this. I mean, we are in Paris! One of the fashion capitals of the world and people are lining up for that? Anyone agree that something is really wrong with that?

p.s. Let’s not mention that I once worked at A&F back in college the summer after my junior year. Not something I am proud of, but it was the easiest job ever.
