I have been really hating the weather here lately. I was caught in two downpours yesterday while biking and all I kept thinking was, “why don’t I have a car?!” One good thing about being in The Netherlands this time of year is that I get to partake in the Queen’s Day festivities! Queen’s Day is a national holiday celebrating the Queen’s birthday. Everyone is in a partying mood and you are required to wear orange – bright bright orange. I didn’t bring anything orange with me so I am not certain what I plan on doing, but if I had to wear an outfit with orange in it this is how it would look. I am sure I would receive some funny looks if I wore this, but honestly I can’t see myself being completely decked out in such a jarring color.
Love it – so much classier than the bright orange. 🙂
