Outfit details: Ray Ban Clubmaster Sunnies | Amour Vert Silk Shift Dress via Sea Salt Boutique | J. McLaughlin Clutch c/o (similar) | Niirva Ethnic Choker | Shoes (similar)
Hello hello! I’m finally back and blogging. I feel like I have so much to tell you, but I’ll go over the outfit first. I wear these sunnies constantly, although I have to be honest I have to remember to not put them on my head when my hair is up because they instantly mess up any hair-do. Other than that, I love them. The necklace is from Niirva. It’s one statement necklace that I don’t mind wearing because it doesn’t weigh a ton and the colors are fairly subdued. The LBD (little black dress) is from Sea Salt Boutique and is by Amour Vert, a sustainable clothing line based in San Fransisco. The clutch is from J. McLaughlin, who so happens to be right next door to Sea Salt Boutique in Harbour Bay Plaza. If you haven’t checked either of these shops out, you should!
Ok. On to other things. I still don’t know what the future of The Happy Closet Blog is going to be because my mind is abuzz with other ideas and possible endeavors. More on that once I have some things set in place.
I have big plans for a redesign of my business website. Hoping to get that started today. I’ll keep you posted on that.
Greg and I traveled to the Juniper Springs in the Ocala National Forest last weekend. We camped. And it was magical. I don’t know what it is, but being outside really has a way of relaxing me. I seemed to let all my cares and worries go. It was such a nice feeling and really set me on track for the week.
It’s tax season, so if you’re local and need your tax return prepared I may or may not know someone that can do that for you. He has a pretty sweet website too. Yes, that was a shameless plug for my bf.
The sun is out today which makes me smile. We had a really rainy December and January which put me in a bit of a funk. I need sunshine to function. Reasons why I won’t ever move to the Pacific Northwest.
I think that’s it. Hopefully I caught you up a bit on what’s going on. As always, thanks for reading! Leave me a comment, I want to hear from you!
