Happy weekend! Although I could not sleep on Sunday in anticipation or dread of this week, I miraculously made it through just fine. I managed to make it to all my classes fashionably late, got a blog post up every day, and am getting closer and closer to finishing up my very first column for Stuart Magazine – look for it in the November issue! My college roomie is visiting this weekend meaning I get to soak up the last bit of summer with one of my favorites. Lately I’ve been more and more thankful for the people God has placed in my life. Desi is definitely a person I am extremely grateful for. I think we both helped each other through a few messes in college. She once pulled an all nighter with me to finish one of my projects! She wasn’t even in the class. True friendship. My family is a big fan of her too. My niece and nephew were singing a song about her coming the other night. Too too cute. Needless to say, we love this girl and are all looking forward to seeing her! Eeeee! Beach and bestie time is happening as soon as her flight touches down tomorrow.
