If you’ve seen me at any event within the last month you’ve probably seen me wearing this dress. I might be slightly obsessed. I’ve worn it to work, to a baby shower, to my family birthday party, to church, on a date, and to a graduation. I might have to give it a rest for a while because people might start thinking it’s the only thing I wear, which may be true. This is my very first maxi dress, yep you read that right. I’m pretty petite and it’s really difficult to find a maxi dress that I am not drowning in. I’m usually not a fan of the high-low hem, but this one is a lot more subtle than most so it works. I paired it with a simple clutch, my bejeweled sandals, my favorite sunnies, a couple delicate layered necklaces – one from my own collection and one on loan from RocksBox. It’s a look that’s versatile, relaxed, and comfortable.
Thanks to those of you that commented on yesterday’s post. I’ll try to work in some local boutique and restaurant content in the coming weeks as well as some more home decor posts. Anything else you want to see? Just let me know!
Who makes this dress?
Hi Carly! It’s by London Times. I searched the web for it, but haven’t come up with the exact dress just yet, I’ll keep looking!
Oh my gosh I love love love this look! Such a fabulous dress, great find! Isnt it so nice when you find a piece and you quickly wear it so many times, really makes you feel happy about your purchase.
I am quite tall, so I have the opposite problem with maxi dresses..they are never as long as I want them to be..haha! I usually gravitate to solid maxi dresses, but this is inspiring me to maybe branch out to more pattern pieces.
