Flats

Flats are on my mind today. It’s the unofficial start to fall and flats are your best bet on shoes to transition into cooler weather. South Florida is much different than the rest of the country and most years our warm weather lasts clear into December. We may have a few days sprinkled here and there of cooler weather, but it never really sticks. An easy way for us Floridians to get into the spirit of fall is by wearing flats instead of our usual sandals. Flats look a bit more tailored than sandals and help refine almost any outfit – especially a pointy-toe flat. I tend to pair mine with skinny jeans and a pretty top. I’ve also been pairing mine with my highwaisted shorts. Flats are a great building block for any wardrobe so if you don’t have a pair for the fall season get shopping!

I’ve rounded up my favorites from around the web. I’ve had really good luck with the Chinese Laundry d’orsay’s while my sister swears by the flats Old Navy puts out and has quite the collection.
