I’ve heard it said that laughter is the best medicine. Add in some wine and your very best friend and I’d say you’re on your way to a very good life. Last week my sister and I spent an evening at Coffee Bar Blue Door chatting, laughing, getting our photos taken, and sipping on some red. If you haven’t caught on, Blue Door is one of my favorite places. It’s one of those spots that no matter the time of day I always have a nice time. You’ll find me there for coffee and design sessions with Litasha, out after dinner grabbing a Hoergaarden with the boyfriend, or having a glass of wine with some girlfriends.

My sister and I both love style and we’re fairly similar in our fashion choices. We love to shop together and sometimes just need a day to spend out and about trying on clothes. There’s some kind of therapy in it. We definitively have duplicate items, because that happens, but we always tend to style them differently. Although our dresses aren’t duplicate items, they are fairly similar with the lace overlays. I scooped up my Banana Republic LBD from Style Encore a few weeks back and Leah’s is from Target – I’m sure you’re not surprised. We both accessorized with some of our on loan jewelry from Rocksbox (sign up here and get a free month and $25 in purchase credit!) and mixed in some of our own pieces. For shoes we both kept it fairly casual with me in flats and Leah in some neutral heeled sandals. I couldn’t find all the exact items, but I found lots of similar ones and all for really great prices.
