Happy New Year! I wanted to take a second to reflect on 2015. I’m sure you noticed that I blogged quite a bit less in 2015 than I did in 2014. There were a few factors that contributed to the change. I changed the name of my blog from The Things We Didn’t Buy to The Happy Closet Blog in hopes of focusing the content more on fashion less on everything else. The name makes more sense for what I intended, but limited me in the world of content. I didn’t feel as free to share about home decor, graphic design, food, and travel which were all shared on The Things We Didn’t Buy. I can’t say I missed sharing about these things all that much, but I did realize that posting only about fashion and style was harder than I anticipated. Another contributing factor, was that up until November I was writing for three other fashion/lifestyle blogs on a weekly or twice a week basis. Basically, the last thing I wanted to do in my spare time was write a blog post.
I’m not sure what this year will bring to the blog, but I did want to thank those of you that still stop by. It means a lot.
On to the outfit. It’s colorful and perfect for the cooler weather we’re experiencing at the moment. The All For Color line is available locally at Sea Salt Boutique in Harbour Bay Plaza and Girls Downtown in Downtown Stuart. I’m not sure if either store carries this specific dress, but you can always shop it online!
